Objectives
         
  • To develop the students knowledge and understanding of the history, philosophy, concepts and the development of marketing in various business settings.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the marketing environment and its implications.

  • Managing the marketing mix in terms of products and services i.e. 4P’s and the 7P’s.

  • Learning about the various policies eg. Product, pricing, distribution and promotions.

  • Examination of the broad concepts of marketing strategy and planning.

  • Obtain an in-depth knowledge of strategy development and marketing planning.

  • Application of the core concepts and techniques of operationalising marketing strategies.

  • Apply and implement strategic marketing plans.9) Understanding marketing in various situations eg. Business to Business, International, Charity etc.
